Lancome Color Fever gloss in Hot Number (review)

1. My favorite lipgloss of all times
2. Universal pink (beautiful color)
3. Looks scary the first time you check it out, either online or at the store (unrealistic internet depiction-Lancome's photographers needs to work a bit on that one)

4. It is stunning and not tacky at all

(dirty tube...)
Applies beautifully thanks to this lovely heart-shaped, soft applicator. It's rather larger than the classic sponge gloss applicator which makes using this product waaay easier
The color is a jazzy raspberry pink with mild purple undertones. One layer is transparent and natural, two or more layers looks more intense and dramatic. It isn't a Playboy-photoshoot-kind of lipgloss (which i thought when i first saw it), but a lovely color.
It contains quite a lot of glitter which i dislike because it doesn't really allow for the color to pop as naturally as i'd wish. However, the glitter is fine and there are no gold particles in the tube.
As of consistency, it isn't tacky at all but very creamy. If i rub my lips i can definitely feel the glitter :( but well...
Great staying power, lovely packaging and great coverage. It doesn't settle into the fine creases of the lips but covers like a lip jelly. Not runny, not too thin or too thick. The formulation and the shade are the best perks about this lipgloss. I find that it can be worn both during daytime as well as in the evening; nevertheless, it's a rather particular shade that looks quite pretentious if i can say so. Gives the lips a natural flushing with purple undertones.
Another great thing about this lipgloss is that it doesn't fade away/rub off completely, like a regular product, it just manages to leave a film of product and moisture on the lips so you're never left bare-lipped. Its endurance is the best thing i guess.
